USE AND PURPOSE OF PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED
The Personal Data collected are computerized and in strict compliance with the rules and principles of the General Data Protection Regulation, being stored in specific Databases, created for this purpose and, under no circumstances, collected data shall be used for another purpose than that for which they were collected, that is, in strict compliance with their inter-business relationships. The data collected may be communicated to customers, partners and suppliers, whenever the collection reason so requires.The Personal Data collected may be used for the purposes of Communication and Marketing, including sending information about products and/or services, commercial campaigns, dissemination of new solutions, invitations to events and sharing other regular information relevant to the Data Subject.
HOW DOES COMPONIT ENSURE ADEQUATE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA?
COMPONIT is committed to guaranteeing and ensuring the protection of Personal Data made available to it, through the appropriate Technical and Organizational Measures for that purpose, in order to prevent possible intrusion, dissemination, amendment, processing and unauthorized access, as well as against any illicit processing.It also undertakes to ensure that, by default, only the data necessary for each specific purpose of the processing are processed and that such data is not available, or made available to third parties, unlawfully.
HOW LONG ARE PERSONAL DATA STORED FOR?
COMPONIT shall store your personal data for the period necessary to provide the services and comply with legal obligations. RIGHT TO TRANSPARENCY: COMPONIT shall provide the data subject, free of charge, with information regarding processing in a concise, transparent, intelligible and easily accessible manner, using clear and simple language. To provide information on the measures taken without undue delay and within one month of receiving the request. If the data subject submits the request by electronic means, the information shall, where possible, be provided by electronic means, unless otherwise requested by the data subject.
RIGHT OF ACCESS: The Data Subject has the right to access their Personal Data and obtain information about the purposes, categories, recipients or categories of recipients to whom their personal data have been or shall be disclosed to, their expected period of retention and their origin. The Data Subject has the right to request the erasure or restriction of processing of personal data, or the right to object to such processing. The Data Subject also has the right to submit a complaint to a supervisory authority;
RIGHT TO RECTIFICATION: The Data Subject has the right to obtain from COMPONIT the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning him/her. Considering the processing purposes, the data subject is entitled to have his/her incomplete personal data completed, including by means of an additional statement.
RIGHT TO ERASURE OR RIGHT TO BE FORGOTTEN: The Data subject has the right to request COMPONIT to erase his/her personal data, and COMPONIT has the obligation to delete said personal data, without undue delay, when it is found that: - The personal data are no longer necessary for the purpose that motivated its collection or processing; - The data subject withdraws his/her consent for the data processing and if there is no other legal basis for said processing; - The data subject opposes the processing of Personal Data and there are no prevailing legitimate interests that justify said processing; - The personal data have been processed illegally; - The personal data must be erased in order to fulfil a legal obligation arising from Union law or from a Member State to which COMPONIT is subject;
RIGHT TO NOTIFICATION: COMPONIT communicates to each recipient, to whom the personal data has been transmitted, any rectification or erasure of the personal data or restriction of processing.
RIGHT TO DATA PORTABILITY: The Data Subject shall have the right to receive personal data concerning him/her in a structured, commonly used and automatically readable format which he/she has provided to COMPONIT, as well as the right to transmit such data to another data controller without any impediment; RIGHT TO OBJECT: The Data Subject has the right to object at any time, for reasons relating to his/her particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning him/her. COMPONIT ceases the processing of Personal Data, unless it presents compelling and legitimate reasons for such processing that prevail over the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject, or for the purposes of the statement, exercise or defence of a right in judicial proceedings.
AUTOMATED INDIVIDUAL DECISIONS, INCLUDING PROFILING: The Data Subject has the right not to be subject to any decision taken exclusively on the basis of automated processing, including profiling, which has an effect on his/her judicial sphere or which significantly affects him/her in a similar way.
HOW CAN YOU ACCESS, RECTIFY OR OPPOSE THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
At any time, you have the right to access your personal data, as well as, within the limits of the contracted party, to amend them, oppose their processing, decide on their automated processing, withdraw your consent and exercise other rights provided for by law. To exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction and opposition to the processing of personal data, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, you must send a written request to COMPONIT, proving your identity, to the email addressprotecaodados@componit.com
COMPONIT reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. In case of changes of the Privacy Policy, these will be included and updated on the Company Website, with the User/Data Subject having direct access to said information.
